INBODY 720
An InBody 720 device is installed in the dietary laboratory at the St. Kateřina Resort. It is an excellent piece of equipment developed by the South Korean company Biospace used for detailed analysis of the composition of the human body. The InBody 720 is one of only two instruments of its kind in the Czech Republic. It determines the distribution of muscle mass, subcutaneous fat, minerals and water in the body and in its various parts.
From the difference of the measured values by bioimpedance of body parts (body, right arm, left arm, right foot, left foot) and various tissues (muscles, fat, bones, water) the device diagnoses water content, muscle mass, fat and minerals in the body. It also calculates their distribution, the symmetry of this distribution, evaluates the degree of being overweight, obesity or malnutrition and sets down the basal metabolic index (BMI) and physical fitness. Extremely accurate and detailed measurements of the InBody 720 allow our specialists to identify and recommend an appropriate diet and physical activity for our clients.
Diagnosis on this unit is completely unique in the Czech Republic. The St Kateřina Resort has in its dietary laboratory the first model sold in the country.
